General problems with the washer-dryer
Issue
Foam comes out of the
detergent dispenser
drawer while the Rinse
out fluff programme is
running.
There is foam in the
drum at the end of the
Rinse out fluff
programme.
There is still fluff in the
drum after the end of
the Rinse out fluff
programme.
The washer-dryer
smells.
Cause and remedy
Residual detergent from the last programme is still
present in the suds container.
 Make sure you dispense the correct amount of
detergent.
 Follow the dispensing recommendations on the
packaging.
The Rinse out fluff programme also rinses out
residual detergent from the suds container. This can
lead to the formation of foam.
 Run the Rinse out fluff programme regularly to
prevent detergent residues from accumulating in
the suds container.
You have not run the Rinse out fluff programme for a
long time.
 Remove the fluff from the drum.
 Run the Rinse out fluff programme on a regular
basis.
The  indicator light was ignored. A wash programme
using a temperature above 60 °C has not been run
for a long time.
 In order to prevent bacteria and unpleasant odours
building up in the washer-dryer, run the Cottons
90 °C programme using the Miele machine cleaner
or multi-purpose powder detergent.
The door and the detergent drawer were closed after
washing.
 Leave the door and the detergent drawer slightly
open to allow them to dry.
