TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The camera cannot
connect to the Kogan
SmarterHome™ app.
The camera is still in the
device list after factory
resetting.
The camera does not
identify the microSD card.
I am not receiving push
notifications from the
motion detection alarm.

Possible solution
• Restart the camera.
• Check the Wi-Fi network is functioning normally.
• Place the camera closer to the router.
• Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz network, and that
this is the network currently corrected to your mobile
device.
• Double check that you have read the instructions correctly
and that the status light in flashing rapidly. This means the
camera is ready to be connected.
• If this does not work, we recommend resetting the camera
and attempting again.
Follow the steps from the 'Removing the camera from the
Kogan SmarterHome™ app' section in this user guide.
• Ensure power to the camera is switched off then insert the
microSD card.
• Ensure the microSD card is formatted to FAT32.
Ensure notifications have been enabled on the Kogan
SmarterHome™ app and your mobile device.
