This safety feature prevents removal of the top seal housing until seal housing pressure is released. The retractor allows the Sarasota ID900 to be removed from the system while leaving the seal housing still clamped to the system pipeline. It is designed to be used with pipeline pressures up to 170 bar (2500 psi).
