• Ensure that the power cable (11) cannot be damaged by
sharp edges or hot surfaces.
• Ensure that the power cable (11) is not jammed or squashed.
• The milk frother must always be disconnected from the mains
if left unattended, prior to assembly and disassembly or
cleaning.
• Never remove the plug from the power socket by pulling the
power cable (11); only ever pull the plug.
• If you find visible damage on the milk frother or the power
cable (11), switch off the milk frother immediately, remove
the plug from the power socket and contact the service
department.
• Only plug the base (10) into a power socket that is properly
installed and easily accessible and whose mains voltage
corresponds with the rating plate specifications. No action by
the user is required to convert the product between 50 and
60 Hz. The product adapts to both 50 and 60 Hz. Following
connection, the power socket must continue to be easily
accessible so that the plug can be quickly removed in an
emergency.
• Do not spill liquid onto the device plug connection.
• Never immerse the base (10) or the canister (6) in water or
any other liquid. If liquid enters into the base (10),
immediately remove the plug from the power socket and
contact the service department.
