The module supports battery temperature detection in the condition that the battery integrates a
thermistor (10 kΩ 1% NTC thermistor by default, recommended B-constant: (25/50) 3380 K +/-1%), and
the thermistor should be connected to BAT_THERM pin, otherwise, there will be malfunctions such as
battery charging failure, battery level display error, etc.
The schematic diagram of connection between battery and module is shown in the figure below:

Figure 3: Schematic Diagram of Connection Between Battery and Module
Mobile devices such as mobile phones and handheld POS systems are powered by batteries. When
different batteries are utilized, the charging and discharging curves in software must be modified
correspondingly to achieve the best performance.
If the thermistor is not available in the battery or an adapter is utilized for powering the module, you must
connect BAT_THERM to GND via a 10 kΩ resistor. Otherwise, the system may misjudge that the battery
temperature is abnormal, and therefore causes battery charging failure.
VBAT_SNS must be connected. Otherwise, the module will have trouble in voltage detection, as well as
associated module power-on/off issues and battery charging/discharging issues.

Supports 10 kΩ NTC thermistor by
default. Connects to the NTC
thermistor when used.
If it is not used, it must be
connected to the ground with an
external 10 kΩ resistor.
If fuel gauge is not used, connect
these pins to the ground.
Supports up to 3 A current
measurement.
