Operation of the sensor

The output A1 has a normally open function. This means that after positioning the sensor, the voltage of
output A1 is permanently "high". This output is used for checking the correct positioning of the sensor.
The output A2 has a normally closed function. In normal operation, the sensor is set to "high", which
means that in the event of a leakage, the sensor changes the switching state of output A2 from "high"
to "low".

Positioning and automatic self-adjustment

The sensor is connected to the control unit according to the connection diagram. When the sensor is
held free in the room, the LED flashes green / yellow with a frequency of approx. 1 Hz. The output A1 is
"low", the output A2 is "high".
The sensor is placed on the bottom of the container and the automatic teaching process is started.
During the teach process, the LED flashes yellow with a frequency of approx. 5 Hz.
After the teach process, both switching states are set, the LED lights up green, the output A1 is at "high",
the output A2 is at "high".
After the voltage drops and the system is switched off, the setting remains stored in the sensor. The
sensor is not reset after the system is switched on. If leakage occurs when the sensor is switched off, it
is immediately detected by the sensor when the unit is switched on.

Mode of operation in the event of faults in the system

If a leakage is detected, the LED switches from green to
yellow and the output A2 switches from "high" to "low". The
output A1 remains "high".

Maintenance, repair, disposal

• Maintenance for this device is not necessary when used as intended.
• It is not possible to repair the device. If you have any problems, please contact directly your customer
service.
• Please dispose of the device in a way that is environmentally friendly according to the national
regulations.
In case of a change of position, e.g. due to a slight tilting of the sensor,
the LED flashes green with a frequency of approx. 2 Hz. The output A1
is "low", the output A2 is "high". If the position of the sensor is changed
completely (active area completely free), the sensor returns to the initial
setting and the LED flashes green / yellow, the output A1 is "low", the
output A2 is "high". By setting up again, the sensor automatically adjusts
itself as described above.
