▌Installing and removing the load compartment
cover
Requirements:
The load compartment cover is retracted.

Removing the load compartment cover
Press in the end cap of load compartment

on the right- or left-hand side.
Push load compartment cover

on the opposite side.
Take load compartment cover

it upwards.
Installing the load compartment cover
Press in the end cap of load compartment

Slide the end cap outwards.

Stowing the load compartment cover
Depending on the vehicle version, the load com-
partment cover can be stowed under the load
compartment floor.

To insert: position load compartment cover

to the left under the trim and engage it in
mounting 2.
on the opposite side and insert load

into other recess 2.
To remove: press the end cap of the load com-

partment cover inward and remove it from
mounting 2.
Attaching/removing the partitioning net
& WARNING Risk of injury or death due to
poorly secured objects
The partitioning net alone cannot secure or
restrain heavy objects, items of luggage or
heavy loads.
You could be hit by an unsecured load, partic-
ularly in the event of abrupt changes in direc-
tion, sudden braking or an accident.
Always stow objects in such a way that

they cannot be thrown around.
Secure objects, luggage or loads against
#
slipping or tipping over, e.g. by using
lashing material, even if you are using
the partitioning net.
For safety reasons, always use a partitioning net
when transporting a load.
