51.5 Listing Commands Available in a Command Mode

Use the help command to view the executable commands on the OLT. Follow these steps to create a
list of supported commands.
Log into the CLI. This takes you to execution mode.

Type help and press [ENTER] to display all the commands available in execution mode. Use execution

mode for show commands and system management.

Copy and paste the results into a text editor to create a list of all the executable commands in

execution mode.
Type config and press [ENTER] to enter configure mode. Use configure mode to configure features.

Type help and press [ENTER] to display all the commands and sub-commands available in configure
mode. The sub-commands are preceded by the command necessary to enter that sub-command
mode. For example, the command name <name-str> as shown next, is preceded by the command
used to enter the config-vlan sub-mode: vlan <1-4094>.
