3.7.10 Backing up the setup data

Store data items set in the maintenance mode on the floppy disk.
(1) From the "Maintenance process" menu screen, select [Backup/
Restore].
The "Backup/Restore" screen opens.
(2) Touch [Backup] in the operating mode area.
(3) Touch [Individual unit data] in the operation category area.
(4) Prepare the floppy disk on which the data was saved as directed
in section "3.7.9 Backing up the setup data." Insert the disk into
the floppy disk drive.
(5) Touch [EXECUTION].
The backup process starts.
The "Process Completed" screen opens.
(6) Touch [OK].
You are returned to the "Maintenance process" menu screen.

3.8 Setting the Slave IDT

Perform the optional software installation and maintenance mode
setup procedures at all IDT-IV units other than the master IDT.

3.8.1 Installing the optional software

Prior to maintenance mode setup, install the optional software.

3.8.2 Restoring the setup data

Perform the following procedure to restore the data saved as directed
in section "3.7.9 Backing up the setup data," for the purpose of
setting the master IDT setup data for the slave IDT units.
(1) From the "Maintenance process" menu screen, select [Backup/
Restore].
