Quickstart Guide

STEP 1 Unpacking

The S6A Chemical Feed Flowmeter is shipped with the following contents:

3/16" Hex Key
! Flash Drive (Operating Manual and Blue-Central )

USB-A to USB-C connector
!
Power Supply (user configurable)
The S6A was designed to be installed and operated by qualified personnel
only. Do not attempt to install or operate the meter if you are unsure. Seek
qualified assistance. Please note that warranty coverage does not include
damage due to misuse or improper installation.

STEP 2 Install Blue-Central

To configure the S6A meter, Blue-Central must be installed and running
on a desktop or laptop computer. To install Blue-Central , power on the
desktop or laptop computer and insert the provided USB Flash Drive.
Doubleclick the .exe file to install and run the Blue-Central Application.
Note: The provided USB Flash Drive also contains the S6A Operating
Manual.

STEP 3 Connect

Connect the meter to the desktop or laptop computer. To do this, open
the enclosure by removing the four screws with the provided 3/16" hex
key. Next, connect the provided USB cable from the desktop or laptop
computer to the USB-C connector on the meter's circuit board. The
meter will appear on the dashboard (it could take up to 30 seconds).
Note: A power supply is not needed to configure the meter.
Note: Installing Blue-Central will add a shortcut to the desktop screen.

STEP 4 Configure

It is suggested that prior to mounting the S6A
Chemical Feed Flowmeter the user configures its
operating parameters. The meter will work without
performing a configuration, however the default
settings may not be adequate for the required
application. For assistance in configuring the meter,
refer to the provided Operating Manual (page 7,
section 6.0) located on the Flash Drive.
