Walk Test
Run a Walk test before installing the detector at the chosen point:
1. Make sure that the Walk Test function has been activated on the control unit.
2. Press the function button once.
3. Check the RSSI value on the control unit.
4. Proceed with the installation.

Restoring default settings

If the detector was not learnt correctly by the control unit, or if you want to remove it and associate it with another control unit, restore
the default settings to eliminate the settings and the information stored in the detector before being able to associate it with another
control unit. To restore the default settings:
1. Remove the batteries and refit them. IMPORTANT: The detector must be reset within three minute from switch-on.
2. The tamper switch must be open (released).
3. Hold the function button pressed 10 seconds, then release it when the camera generates a light signal.
4. The detector was reset to the default factory settings and all the previous network information were deleted. The detector is
no longer present on the "Devices" page of the local control panel.

Installation
Installation guidelines
The detector was designed to be mounted on a flat surface or in a corner by means of the angle bracket using the fixing
screws and the anchor bolts provided.
The base has hole arrangements where the plastic is thinner for mounting. The two arrangements are used to fix on a surface.
While the three holes are used to fix the angle bracket.
It is advisable to install the detector as shown below:
In the point in which a possible intruder would normally cross the field of vision of the detector.
-
At a height of 1.9 - 2 m from the ground for optimal performance.
-
In a corner to have the widest view possible.
In a point in which the field of vision is not obstructed, e.g. by curtains, ornaments etc.
Restrictions
Do not position the detector pointing directly towards a door protected by a door contact, because the wireless signals of the
door contact and of the detector could be transmitted in the same instant and cancel themselves out.
Do not install the detector so that it is completely exposed to direct sunlight.
Avoid installing the detector in areas in which devices which could cause sudden changes of temperature in the detection area
are present, such as air conditioning units, radiators etc.
Avoid the presence of large size obstacles in the detection area.
Do not point it directly towards sources of heat, such as stoves or boilers, or over radiators.
Avoid moving objects in the detection area, such as curtains, hanging objects etc.

Detector installation

Surface installation:
1.
Loosen the fixing screw and gently lift the cover, taking care not to lose the rubber button

2.
Perforate the hole arrangements on the base for fixing on a surface.
3.
Using the two holes as template, drill the holes corresponding to the surface.
4.
Insert the anchor bolts if the device is fixed to plaster or bricks.
5.
Screw the base into the anchor bolts.
6.
Reposition the cover onto the base.
Corner installation:
1. Perforate the two arrangements for holes on the corner bracket.
2. Using the two holes as template, drill the holes corresponding to the surface.
