Introduction 【Motor cable】 :M8-5pin connector (female) ・Switching the motor output setting to motor port output, allows the use of the motor port as a remote output. ・The setting for “Motor output “ or “Motor port” can be switched with iCEP or PLC. - With iCEP: Refer to «iCEP User Manual».
Wiring and mounting IB-P05 Technical documentation 1. Introduction 1.4 Wiring and mounting 1.4.1 Power wiring (1) Requirement for overcurrent protection Installation of an overcurrent protection device may be required to conform to specific safety standards (such as UL60950-1). In such a case, be sure to install the overcurrent protection device as shown below.
Network configuration diagram IB-P05 Technical documentation 1. Introduction 1.5 Network configuration diagram To use iCEP, connection of PC with IB is required. Use the figures as shown below for reference when wiring IBs. LAN cable used between IB boards can be a straight-through or crossover cable. (1) Cascade connection ・iCEP(PC application) PROFINET...
Controlling IB-P05 IB-P05 Technical documentation 1. Introduction 1.6 Controlling IB-P05 The IB can be used as either a master or slave. If an IB is set as a master, the motor RUN and remote output on the board can be controlled using logic programmed using iCEP. If IBs are set as slaves, the motor RUN and remote output on each board will be controlled by a master (PLC or IB set as master).
