Polara APS products for use on mid-block RRFB crosswalks use a control signal provided by the flash controller to trigger the voice message. For Carmanah systems using the older “Model-X” series products, this control signal was provided by the LED driver output. On newer Carmanah systems, using the new iNX/iDX products, this control signal is provided by a dedicated digital output from the flash controller (EMS). -
