2.2 Installing the Battery
Insert the lithium-ion battery into the battery compartment with the metal
contacts facing the inside of the camcorder. The battery can only be
inserted one way. Push the battery in until it locks into place.
1. Open the battery door by sliding the battery door release to the right, the door
will then flip open.
2. Insert the battery. Ensure that the metal contacts are inserted first. Push the
down until you hear an audible click.
3. Close the battery door, you will hear an audible click when the battery door
is locked.
4. To remove the battery, slide the battery lock away from the battery and
the battery will eject.
