Connecting Video Source Cables

CAUTION:
monitor are powered off.
The video source is determined by the video cable used. The monitor automatically determines
which inputs have valid video signals. The inputs can be selected by pressing the source button
on the front of the monitor.

Connecting the DisplayPort Cable

Connect one end of the DisplayPort video cable to the back of the monitor and the other end to the
DisplayPort video connector on the computer. You can use this cable only if your computer has a
DisplayPort-compliant graphics card that is either integrated or installed. DisplayPort cable is not
provided.

Connecting the VGA Cable

Connect one end of the VGA cable to the back of the monitor and the other end of the cable to the
input device. The VGA cable is not provided.
VGA connection only carries video input signal. To output audio from a VGA source through the
monitor, you must connect one end of the audio cable to the back of the monitor and the other end
of the cable to the input device. An audio cable is provided.
