A printer driver is software that lets your computer communicate with
your printer.
The following table is a quick guide to finding the printer driver
installation instructions you need.
Network environment or operating system
Windows XP
After you have assigned and verified the TCP/IP settings, you are
ready to configure the printers and set up your network clients to print
to them.
In Windows network environments, printers can be configured for
direct printing or for shared printing.
