If your OS 531 is working in the LMS mode, click the Next button. and follow the onscreen instructions to
select the leak location, leak attributes, and parts for leak repair or replacement step by step. See the flow
chart below for the complete recording process.
Notes:
When you record the first leak in a survey, each record item is displayed with its default value (for
example, the record item Department shows NA, and Est. Repair Time shows 0.). The next time you
record a leak, the record items are displayed with the settings that you specified last time.
For the record item of Est. Repair Time, if you cannot find an appropriate time in the option list,
select 0. For other record items, if the option list does not contain the option that you need, select
NA and click the Skip button to skip this record item and its cascading sub-items.
The following flow chart shows the complete recording process in the LMS mode.
Note: The recording items in the chart can be hidden from the process using the menu of Survey Settings > Record
Option Settings.
For any hidden record items or record items that you skipped by clicking the Skip button, the OS 531 will save their
default values to the leak record.
13. Click the Complete button.
