Outdoor Unit Wiring
WARNING
Before performing any electrical or wiring
work, turn off the main power to the system.
1. Prepare the cable for connection.
a. You must first choose the right cable
size.
NOTICE
In North America, choose the cable type
according to the local electrical codes
and regulations. In North America, please
choose the right cable size according to
the Minimum Circuit Ampacity indicated
on the nameplate of the unit.
b. Using wire strippers, strip the jacket
from both ends of the cable to reveal
approximately 15cm (6") of wire.
c. Strip the insulation from the ends.
d. Stranded wire requires u-lugs or ring
terminals to be crimped onto the ends
of the wire.
