(1) When a single-phase pulse input signal is used:
<When the VFSX-4514 expansion terminal block board is used>
Jumper positions:
See figure 1-3, "VFSX-4514".
Jumper settings:
See table 3-5-2.

Set the JP1 jumper to the PGB position

Connect the pulse input signal between the PGB and CC pins on the expansion
terminal block board. The pulse input signal should be isolated from the encoder
output signal when the wiring length to inverter exceeds 1 O m.
The expansion terminal block board pins P12 and CC provide a fixed-voltage
12-VDC power supply output that can be used as the encoder power supply if a
12-VDC encoder is used.

If the command mode is "terminal block valid", the ST, F, and R pins (and CC
pin) on the inverter itself can be used for forward/reverse switching.

Set the JP3 jumper to the PGB position, and set the JPS jumper to the A position.
If the S7/P12 pin on the expansion terminal block board is to be used as the
encoder power supply, set the JP1 jumper to the P12 position.

Connect the pulse input signal between the PGB and CC pins on the expansion
terminal block board. The pulse input signal should be isolated from the encoder
output signal when the wiring length to inverter exceeds 10 m.
The expansion terminal block board pins P12 and CC provide a fixed-voltage
12-VDC power supply output that can be used as the encoder power supply if a
12-VDC encoder is used.
