3. Install the belt (item 13) onto the blower by working
it around the impeller sheave.

4. Mount the blower on the deck by sliding the
mounting pin into the tube at the rear right corner
of the deck. Swing the blower closed. Adjust the
position of the front pin to engage the slot in the
front of the deck. Use the latch to lock the blower
in this position. Adjust the tension on the latch to
hold the blower up to the deck, yet allow for release
by hand.
5. Pull the spring loaded idler back and slip the belt
over the top deck spindle sheave.
6. Install the plastic belt cover (item 10). On 60 inch
and 66 inch units the outside end of the cover
is slotted and can slip between the two washers
assembled in step 1 in the Units Serial Number
600,000 and Higher section. The plastic knob does
not need to be removed. On 72 inch units the cover

after the cover has been positioned.
On Units Serial Number 600,000 and
Higher with Triton Decks:
Adjust dog leg baffle to match Ultra Vac blower intake
opening. Adjusting too wide may allow objects to be
thrown from under the mower deck at high speed.
Adjusting too narrow may cause plugging issues.
If the deck discharge opening and the blower
intake opening do not match correctly, it
will allow objects to be thrown in operator's
or bystander's direction. Also, contact with
blade could occur. Thrown objects or blade
contact can cause serious injury or kill you or
bystanders.
Adjust dog leg baffle to match intake opening.
Installing the Muffler Diverter for
LZUV52
For LAS28KA524 Units Serial Number
670,000–789,999 Only:
1. Locate the muffler diverter in the Dealer Pack.
2. Remove and discard the screw that secures spark
arrestor in the muffler outlet tube.
3. Install the diverter over the muffler outlet tube and
secure with the new longer screw provided. Ensure
that the spark arrestor remains in place inside the
outlet tube.
Installing the Weight Assembly
All Units Serial Number 599,999 and
Lower and Liquid Cooled XS Units
Serial Number 600,000 and Higher
Only:
Note: Weight plates are not required on Air-Cooled
Triton Units Serial Number 600,000 and Higher.
The four weight plates (item 33) must be installed under
the front panel of the floor pan. These weights give
proper balance to the machine when the removable
portions of the bagger are removed.
Units below Serial Number 600,000 with the 2 post
foldable ROPS installed require additional mounting
