    Introduction OVERVIEW The HT-MERCURY is an all-in-one meeting collaboration video bar with an ultra-wide angle 4K AI camera, microphone and speaker features and wireless screen presentation capability. It includes a built-in Wi-Fi module and offers multiple connection options, including AirPlay, Miracast, Smart View, HT-Voyager and physical HDMI and USB-C ports.

    The first method can be used if the laptop supports USB Type-C where a single USB Type-C can be used to project video from the connected laptop as well as receive microphone audio and camera video from the HT-MERCURY. This method supports DP1.4, USB3.0, USB2.0 and PD (max 60W).

    MERCURY into the Room PC along with a USB cable. In this application the laptop is used as a source into the Room PC through the HT-MERCURY and the Room PC can view the source along with the camera for Zoom calls.

    Note: After the HT-MERCURY is connected to a computer it can be detected by the system using the following names: Model: HT-MERCURY VIDEO BAR Camera/Speaker/Microphone: HT-MERCURY VIDEO BAR Bluetooth Pairing The device can be controlled using the included Bluetooth remote controller once the two have been paired with each other.

Buttons Description Press and hold the remote’s Bluetooth button for 2 seconds to enable the HT-MERCURY to start pairing with other third- party Bluetooth devices. (This function will be available in Bluetooth further versions.) Press to answer the phone (only available when connected to a cellphone via Bluetooth).

    Key Functions SCREEN MIRRORING With screen mirroring support, the HT-MERCURY allows you to share your mobile devices’ content wirelessly over AirPlay Mirroring, Miracast, Smart View and HT-Voyager. In this manual, mobile devices available for screen mirroring are referred to as “screen mirroring sources”, which include Apple devices (iPhone/iPad/Mac), Android phones, Windows PCs, and HT- Voyager.

    2. Slide down from the top of the screen and click the Smart View icon in the pop-up interface. 3. The Smart View window appears and starts to search for Miracast receiver. Click the HT-MERCURY device name in the search result and the device will output the mobile screen.

    Click the HT-MERCURY device name in the search results. The HT-MERCURY device displays the PC’s content once your PC is connected to the device successfully. To disconnect PC from the device: click Disconnect. Note: Ÿ The icon and interface of the Miracast function may vary on different computers.

    Steps to share laptop’s screen on the display using HT-Voyager: Pair the HT-Voyager with HT-MERCURY. Connect the HT-Voyager to the PAIRING port of the HT-MERCURY for pairing. Once pairing is completed, “Pairing successful” appears on the display screen. (This will take around 20 seconds to complete.)

    Send API command through telnet to the switcher to show the Guide Screen. For è more information, see the separate HT-MERCURY API documentation. The switcher supports OSD (On Screen Display) to convey device basic information, including the video source’s information, access code, device name, IP address, and Wi-Fi password. The following is an example of OSD.

    If you want to set access code, please see BYOD section for more information. Web GUI The Web UI designed for the HT-MERCURY allows for basic controls and device settings. This Web UI can be accessed through a modern browser, e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE10+, etc.

    The Web UI main page includes Overview, Camera, Settings and Support Pages. Overview (1 page) – offers an overview of the HT-MERCURY including the firmware • version, connected source timing, and HDCP setting. Camera – offers control of the ePTZ camera including setting presets.

    Device Name Note: The name must be 1~20 characters in length, including letters, numbers, “_” or “-”. By default, it is set as HT-MERCURY. IP Method Select the desired IP mode between DHCP and Static. (Default is DHCP) IP Address Set the IP address manually if Static mode is selected.
