SETTING TO WORK – DRAIN AND SEWER CLEANING (Cont'd)
11.
Remove pendant station from storage and plug pendant end into socket
adaptor positioned inside the main control panel on the left-hand side of the
truck.

Remove sewer hose from retainer and blanking plug from vacuum hose end
and boom safety Ratchet strap.
13.
Using the remote depress 'BOOM UP' button till boom clears transit carrying
cradle.
Note: DO NOT LIFT BOOM ANY MORE THAN 50mm
storage cradle. Damage will occur to the truck cabin.

Depress boom 'ROTATION UNLOCK' and rotate boom end to align with pit and
then depress boom "ROTATION LOCK'

Depress 'BOOM OUT/IN' to align boom end over pit, Maximum extension
1200mm.
NOTE: If "BOOM UP" function is activated during boom rotation the 'ROTATION
LOCK' will automatically be activated.

Remove manhole/pit cover and select Vacuum Extension Pipes to reach
bottom of the pit ensuring bottom extension is the fluidizing pipe section thus
allowing better air flow at vacuum pick up point resulting in greater loading
rates.
HINT:
Use of the boom UP and DOWN function will assist in assembly of
vacuum pipes.
17.
Select the appropriate cleaning nozzle for the task at hand (Refer to
Section 8 – Nozzle Selection Tips).
18.
Depress 'HOSE OUT' button on controller, slide Tiger Tail over sewer hose
and then secure selected nozzle to hose end.
