6. Close the Top Cover.
7. After loading the label media, it is
recommended that you run a Test
Print to make sure the labels are
correctly loaded and printed.

LABEL SENSING

The SATO D508/D512 uses label Gap (see-through) or Eye-Mark (reflective) sensing. The
Sensor Assembly is located on the left edge of the media and is automatically positioned by the
Paper Guides.
