Figure 27 shows the card-edge connector on the HLU-432. Active pins are highlighted in black.

Network Management Control Bus

The HLU-432 provides a Network Management Control Bus on pin 46 of the card-edge connector. This allows
the various ADC Management System protocols to manage the HLU through the HMU-319 HiGain Management
Unit. Whenever the HLU-432 is under management, the MNGD message appears periodically on the HLU-432
front-panel display.
Some HLU-432 features are affected when it is under management. Consult the management
unit practice for further information.

Fuse Alarm

Pin 25 on the card-edge connector is a Fuse Alarm that is driven to -48 Vdc whenever the onboard fuse opens.
