DEALER SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
The mower as received from the factory is partially assembled and requires minimum time to complete
assembly and is ready for sale.
Some models may be shipped vertically on a shipping pallet. This shipping pallet is intended for use in trans-
porting the mower from the factory to dealer.
DO NOT use this pallet to store the unit. DO NOT store mower vertically, the mower can
fall over resulting in serious injury or death. To avoid injury always store mower lying
down on flat ground.
Assembly will be easier if components are aligned and loosely assembled before tightening hardware. Refer to
bolt torque chart in Maintenance Section. All bolts are grade 5 unless otherwise specified.
SETUP INSTRUCTIONS - HITCH
1. With the mower sitting flat on the ground, rotate Riser Struts up into a vertical position.
2. Remove the hardware and Toggle from the Riser Struts, align the Toggle as shown to the second hole
from the top of the Riser Struts, and reinstall the hardware as shown.
3. Place the struts in the orientation as shown.
4. Remove the hardware from the top hole of the Strut.
5. Place the split bushing in the slotted hole of the Toggle, align the top hole of the Struts to the bushing in
the slotted hole of the Toggle ensuring the angled face of the Toggle rests on the bushing of the second
bolt/bushing combination of the Strut.
6. Tighten fasteners.
