CONTENTS OVERVIEW NOTE: All Mounting Brackets come pre-assembled with bolts facing the same orientation. For safety, it’s recommended to position all protruding Top Clamp bolts inward. FBM ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE MOUNTING BRACKETS Set aside two of four FBM-1016 Mounting Brackets, and perform Steps 1.1–1.6 to both, then proceed to Step 2.1 Rotate the Clamp Assembly 180° Loosen the indicated Clamp Nuts Lower the Clamp Assembly onto the Mounting Bracket. Tighten only enough to retain Clamps on Mounting Bracket.

VEHICLE MOUNTING SEQUENCE Set to distances shown below: Use Dimensions A for 2 Crossbar models. Beginning with the Rear Crossbar, position it on the vehicle’s roof, then proceed to Step 3.2 to tighten the Rear Crossbar Mounting Brackets in place. Place the remaining Crossbar(s) onto the roof and set according to designated dimensions shown below, but do not tighten.

Z Plate Cam held in position with 19mm wrench Z Plate Cam Nut Place a 13mm box end wrench onto the Z Plate Cam Nut 13mm Ensure the vehicle’s roof gutter is engaged within the Z Plate, and the Mounting Plate is fully seated inside the gutter.
