5.1.2 Assembling the Mast to the Base

1. If locking-type casters are on the patient lift, lock them.
2. Remove the shoulder bolt, nut, and washer that secure the mast in the U-shape
cutout of the base.
3. Position the mast in an upright position, and place the mast into the U-shaped
cutout of the base.
4. Secure with a nut.
