4-5-2 Reassembly to enable service position

Cautions
1) The DZ-HS303A incorporates a high-voltage fl ash unit. Use countermeasures to prevent electric
shock, such as wearing gloves, and take great care during work. The fl ash unit Keeps its high voltage
even if the power supply (AC adapter/charger, battery, etc.) is removed.
2) Laser light striking the eye may cause your eyesight to be lost: For safety, be sure to remove any
power supply (AC adapter/charger, battery, etc.) from the DVD video camera/recorder before starting
work.

(1) Setting to service position (A)
Service position (A) is used to troubleshoot
the power supply system, video/audio signal
system (excluding LCD monitor system) and
operation button system on rear case side: Use
the check points on the MAN and GSL-3M/L
circuit boards for troubleshooting.
