Remedy
Check computer's communi-
cation ports settings.
Refer to the documentation
that comes with your com-
puter and check if its current
communications port settings
are correct.
If problems persist, contact
the manufacturer of the your
computer or the retailer from
whom you purchased it to
verify correct communication
port settings.
If the printer is connected
directly to the parallel port of
a computer running Windows
95 or Windows 98, either
remove the Drvwppqt.vxd file
from the folder C:\Win-
dows\System\Iosubsys or
change the file's name (for
example, to "Drvwppqt.old").
However, if a tape backup
device is connected to the
parallel port, do not perform
the operation mentioned
above.
