Configuring the Tabletop Drive Parallel SCSI ID
Each device on the parallel SCSI bus must have its own unique SCSI ID. Use the push-
button SCSI ID selector switch on the drive back panel to change the SCSI ID of the
tabletop LTO-3 (Model B) Half-Height Tape Drive (see
Parallel SCSI ID selector switch
Note: Parallel SCSI controllers and host adapters generally use ID 7. In some systems,
the boot drive uses ID 0 or ID 1. Avoid configuring the LTO-3 (Model B) Half-
Height Tape Drive to these SCSI IDs.
After configuring the parallel SCSI ID, proceed to
