FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPTS - 2
Sophisticated insulation provides an excellent heat barrier in a compact unit.
Over multiple cycles, insulation will heat up, so cooling is also required.
In K-PAQ Junior, cooling is provided by gel packs that are frozen & then
inserted inside the canister.
Gel packs will provide cooling for a number of cycles, after which they will
need to be changed out. This simple operation can be accomplished within
the normal servicing time (unloading / loading) of the mold.
Change-out is typically necessary twice per 8-hour shift.
