Boom position
WARNING
Avoid injury!
Follow ALL of the precautions listed below.
Failure to comply could result in death or serious injury.
• When performing modification, in which boom position is lowered, ROPS is not applicable.
• When it is assumed that the boom position will be lowered by modification, it is required to consult with company
every time.
• The range of change in the boom position cannot be determined uniformly.
If the bucket tip is touched to the ground surface with the maximum working radius and if the position overlapping
with the cab (* mark of figure) is significantly lower than the standard machine (standard arm) as seen from side view,
ROPS is not applicable.
Moreover, in machine that is equipped with a cab which withstands 31 ton, if the same cab is installed in 24 ton
machine that is closer to weight limit and the cab is installed in 21 ton machine, the level of impact is not same.
