Replacing the Fuse
Switch off the multimeter and remove all measuring cables
from the inputs and the measured component.
Remove the slipcover from the multimeter.
Loosen both screws on the backside of the
unit and remove the bottom housing (see
"Changing the Battery").
On the left side of the board you will see
the fuse (F500 mA / 250 V). Grasp the fuse
and pull it out.
Replace the fuse with one of the same type
and dimensions (F500 mA / 250 V Ø 5 x 20
mm).
After replacing the fuse, reattach the
housing to the unit and tighten the screws.
When attaching the housing make sure, no
cables cannot be jammed. Your multimeter
is now ready for use.
CAUTION! Do not operate the unit with the housing open.
