Changing the Battery

The multimeter is powered by a 9V block battery (6LR61). When
the battery starts to deteriorate, the battery symbol on the left
side on the display starts flashing. Remove and replace the
battery as soon as possible with one battery of the same type
and dimension.
Replacing the Battery
Turn off the unit and disconnect all
measuring cables from the measured
object and the sockets of the unit.
Remove the slipcover from the multime-
ter.
Loosen both marked screws on the
backside of the cover and remove the
bottom housing.
Remove the spent battery and detach the
battery cable.
Connect the battery cable to the new
battery, observing right polarity.
Reattach the housing and tighten the
screws. When attaching the housing
make sure, no cables cannot be jammed
between both housings.
CAUTION! Never operate the unit with the housing open!
