OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
c.
To lock the trigger switch in the ON position, push the lock on/off button all the way to the
left or right while the trigger switch is depressed. The tool will continue operation when the
trigger switch is released.
d. To unlock the lock-on/off button and stop continuous running, press the trigger switch again.
3. Speed-range Button
The multi tool can be set to one of three speed-
range settings.
The default speed range when the tool is turned on
for the first time is "3" (maximum speed). When the
variable-speed trigger switch (F) is first pressed,
the LED indicator (H) will shine three green lights to
indicate that the tool is in the maximum speed range.
WARNING
• Change the speed range when the tool is off or
when the tool is running at no-load. Failure to obey
this warning could cause loss of control and result
in serious personal injury or property damage.
Each press of the speed-range button (G) will
toggle between the three speed ranges:
1 – Low speed range. Only one light illuminates.
2 – Medium speed range. Two lights illuminate.
3 – Maximum speed range (max. 18,000 OPM).
Three lights illuminate
The proper speed range depends on the job and the type
of accessory being used, and material being worked on.
The LED indicators will turn off after approximately
10 second of inactivity. The tool's memory function
will remember the last active speed range and
revert to it the next time the tool is turned on.
4. LED Work Light
The LED work light (C), located on the head of the
multi-tool, will illuminate when the variable-speed
trigger switch (F) is depressed. This provides
additional light on the surface of the workpiece for
operation in lower-light areas.
The LED work light will turn off within approximately
10 seconds after the variable-speed trigger switch
is released.
a. The LED work light will blink rapidly if the tool
has stopped working in order to protect internal
circuits; wait for the tool to cool down, at which
point it can be started again.
