OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
• Battery tools are always in operating condition. Therefore, always remove the battery pack
when making adjustments or changing accessories, when the tool is not in use, or when
carrying the tool at your side.
1. To Attach Battery Pack
a. Align the raised portion on the battery pack with
the grooves on the bottom of the tool, and then
slide the battery pack onto the tool as shown.
b. Make sure that the latch on the battery pack
snaps into place and the battery pack is
secured to the tool before beginning operation.
NOTICE: When placing the battery pack on the
tool, be sure that the raised rib on battery pack
aligns with the groove on the tool and the latches
snap into place properly. Improper assembly of
the battery pack can cause damage to internal
components.
To Detach Battery Pack
a. Press the battery-release buttons to release the battery pack.
b. Pull out the battery pack from the tool.
2. Installing or Changing the Cut-off Wheel
WARNING
• Use the appropriate cut-off wheels. Do not
use cracked, damaged or excessively worn
cut-off wheels. Do not use the tile saw to cut
wood or metal.
a. Remove the battery pack.
b. Hold the outer washer (Q) still using the flat
wrench (D).
NOTE: The wheel bolt has left-hand thread
and should be turned clockwise to loosen and
counterclockwise to tighten.
c.
With your other hand, use the "T" wrench (P) to remove the wheel bolt (R) by turning it
CLOCKWISE (Fig. 2a).
d. Remove the wheel bolt, outer washer and the cut-off wheel (Fig. 2b).
e. The remaining, inner washer, does not need to be removed (Fig. 2b).
f.
Clean the spindle, washers, and the guard to remove any dirt and dust.
g. Make sure that the rotation arrow on the cut-off wheel and the arrow on the wheel guard
are pointing in the same direction. Replace the cut-off wheel (H) between the guard (I) and
the water supply, against the inner washer (Fig. 2b).
