    2. 0dB/Passive, -6dB/Active Inputs and Clip The Traynor Big Block input circuit has been designed for most basses but as we know, all basses are not created equally. Some basses have higher signals while others have very low signals, the Traynor Big Blocks feature inputs that accommodate a wide range of basses by including both 0 and -6 db inputs.

    4. Gain Control The Traynor Big Block’s Gain control allows you to set the level of the signal before it’s sent to the tone controls. This al- lows control of the tonal ‘sensitivity’ or ‘definition’ of the amplifier. Higher gain settings will give more ‘growl’ to your bass.
