3.2 Fan Mounting

3.2.1 Flange Sealing Recommendation

The pressure tightness of the fan flange was successfully tested at Levitronix
setup:
•
Flat Gasket: Material FKM, thickness 3 mm, dimensions see Figure 10.
•
Flange Counter Part: Material PVC, thickness min. 10 mm, recommended 15 mm.
•
Screws: M10 screws, tightening torque 1.5 – 3.5 Nm.

3.2.2 Mounting Proposals

BFS-i06 fans can be adapted into many different duct systems and may be operated in parallel or series to
achieve higher flow or pressure. This section describes a few of many possible mounting scenarios. For more
