INSTALL COUNTERWEIGHTS (FIGURE 4)
CAUTION: Always install counterweights on the
front axle before operating unit with bagger
attached. Always remove counterweights from
front axle when bagger is removed from the
unit.
1. Install the counterweight bracket (item 5) on the
frame using two 1/2-13 x 1 1/4 roundhead square
neck bolts (item 15) and two 1/2-13 nyloc flange
nuts (item 17). See Figure 4.
NOTE: User may need to remove (2) tapping screws and
Gravely backing plate.
2. Fasten the weight plates (item 6) to the
counterweight bracket (item 5) using two 1/2-13 x 1
1/2 round head square neck bolts (item 14) and two
1/2-13 nyloc flange nuts (item 17). See Figure 4.
NOTE: The weights will rest on the counterweight
bracket.

INSTALL BAGGER MOUNT (FIGURE 5 AND
FIGURE 6)
CAUTION: Support rear bumper and bagger
mount when removing and installing
components.
CAUTION: ALWAYS block wheels and know all
jack stands are strong and secure and will hold
weight of unit during maintenance.
1. Raise the rear of the unit and support it securely on
jack stands.
2. Remove original rear bumper by removing four
tapping screws holding it to the frame as shown in
Figure 5.
Remove these two
tapping screws.
3. Install the lower mount weldment (item 4) on the
main frame with six 11/32 x 11/16 x 1/16 flat
washers (item 24), six 5/16-18 x 2 1/4 hex bolts
(item 11) and six 5/16-18 nyloc flange nuts
(item 18). See Figure 6.
