The time is recorded continuously when the mains voltage is
switched on.
The counter must be reset by qualified personnel.
The following service intervals can be selected:

Pump activation (DIP 6-7)
Switches for selecting the pump operating mode. Each pump
can be deactivated (OFF) or enabled (ON) here. This is indi-
cated by the green LED (Fig. 1, item 5, item 9).
NOTE: If switched off, the pump is not switched on by a
float switch requests.

6.2.5 Follow-up time (Fig. 2, item 2)
The follow-up time is the time it takes for the base-load pump
to switch off after the float switch contact is opened.
The follow-up time is set in the unit on the potentiometer. It is set
continuously within the range of 0-120 seconds.
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
There is a danger of electric shock by touching live
components when working on the open switchgear.
This work may be carried out only by qualified person-
nel.
To set the potentiometer, switch the unit so that it is volt-
age-free and secure it against being switched on
again without authorisation.
6.2.6 External motor protection, WSK
If the motor is equipped with a thermal winding contact (WSK),
it must be connected to the provided terminals 1 and 2 for
pump 1 and terminals 3 and 4 for pump 2.
For motors without a WSK, a jumper is to be installed.
6.2.7 High water alarm
In order to evaluate the high water alarm, a float switch must
be connected to terminals 9 and 10 (HW). If triggered, an opti-
cal and acoustic signal are issued and a forced switch-on of
the pump takes place. The collective fault signal (SSM) and
high water alarm are active.

7. INSTALLATION AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
Incorrect installation or electrical connection can pose
a risk of fatal injury.
•The installation and electrical connection may only be
carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with
the applicable regulations!
•Observe the accident prevention regulations!
7.1 Installation
Install the switchgear in a dry, vibration-free and frost-proof
location.
Protect the place of installation from direct exposure to sun-
light.
Borehole distances 268 x 188 mm (WxH). For details, see bottom
of switchgear. For fixation, provide screws (4 screws, Ø max 4
mm) and the corresponding dowels.
To fasten the switchgear, open the top part of the housing:
•Undo the 4 cover fastening screws.
•Fasten the switchgear to the wall with the dowels and screws.
7.2 Electrical connection
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
Incorrect electrical connections pose a risk of fatal
injury due to electric shock.
•Allow the electrical connection to be made only by an
electrician approved by the local energy supply com-
pany in accordance with the local applicable regula-
tions.
•Observe the installation and operating instructions for
the pumps and accessories.
•Disconnect the power supply prior to any work!
•The type of mains and current and voltage of the mains con-
nection must correspond to the details on the rating plate of
the pump/motor.
•Mains requirements:
NOTE: In accordance with DIN EN/IEC 61000-3-11 (see
table below), the switchgear and pump with motor
power of ... kW (column 1) are provided for operation
on a mains power supply with a system impedance of
Z
at the house connection of max. ... Ohm (column
max
2) for a maximum number of ... switchings (column 3).
If the mains impedance and the number of switching
operations per hour is greater than the values given in
the table, because of the unfavourable mains connec-
tions, the switchgear with the pump may lead to tem-
porary voltage drops and also to disturbing voltage
fluctuations, or flickering.
Therefore, measures may be necessary before the
switchgear with pump can be operated correctly on
this connection. The necessary information must be
obtained from the local electricity supply company
and the manufacturer.
