MinPad Functions

MinPad Functions
MinPad performs the following functions:
• Turns the receiver On or Off, or put it in the Sleep mode. When in Sleep
mode, the receiver will turn on in response to any activity on the RS232
port.
• Turns data recording On or Off.
• Shows the number of GPS and GLONASS satellites that are being tracked.
• Shows data recording status.
• Shows each time data is recorded to internal memory.

MinPad's LEDs and Keys

As usually MinPad has the following LEDs:
• one Status (STAT) LED and
• one Recording (REC) LED.
Notice: In the systems with more than one board (e.g. JNSGyro-2
and JNSGyro-4) there are more than one STAT and one
REC LEDs.
Each LED has three colors: red, green, and orange.
MinPad as usually has the following keys:
• an ON/OFF key (PWR)
• Function/recording key (FN).
• Reset key
• Receivers equipped with internal batteries, (Figure 1-2) have in addition the
battery (BATT) LED.
