Setting the mode switch

The mode switch is a two-position switch that sets the Endorser to
imprint check-size documents or documents having a feeding length
greater than 5 inches (12.7 cm).
To set the mode switch:
CAUTION: Any time the microfilmer cover is opened with the film
cassette installed, the film compartment latch must be
unlocked (by rotating the latch downward) to prevent
room light from exposing (fogging) the film.
1. Lift the microfilmer cover.

2. For check-size documents, move the mode switch left to the CHECKS
position.
3. For documents having a feeding length of more than 5 inches
(12.7 cm), move the mode switch right to the LONG DOCUMENTS
position.
NOTE: Long documents will receive more than one imprint if they are
microfilmed with this switch in the CHECKS position.
4. Close the microfilmer cover and latch the film compartment.
