You should become acquainted with the Endorser controls and indicators
before operating the Endorser.

CAUTION: Any time the microfilmer cover is opened with the film
cassette installed, the film compartment latch must be
unlocked (by rotating the latch downward) to prevent
room light from exposing (fogging) the film.
The Endorser switch on the control panel turns the Endorser on and off.
A green indicator is illuminated when the Endorser is on.
Lift the microfilmer cover to view the Endorser. A label on the inside rear
of the microfilmer shows Endorser settings.
The mode switch sets the Endorser to imprint either check-size
documents or documents having a feeding length greater than 5 inches
(12.7 cm).
The imprint location control adjusts the endorsement location from
approximately 1 to 12 inches (2.5 to 30.5 cm) from the leading edge of
the document.
