General Safety Instructions

WARNING! Read all the instructions.
Failing to comply with all the instructions
stated herein may result in serious injuries.

WITH CARE!
• Before any intervention into the con-
vector, make sure that it is discon-
nected from the power supply, that
the supply valve is closed and that the
conductor has cooled down.
• Make sure the convector is grounded.
• Do not expose the convector to flam-
mable gases.
• Do not touch the exhaust section
during the convector's operation.
• The lower edge of curtains must be at
least 150 mm above the convector's
grille. It should be emphasized that
curtains present an obstruction to the
circulation of air above the convec-
tor and decrease the flow of heated/
cooled air from the convector into the
residential area of the room.
• The convector must not be installed
directly beneath any electrical socket.
• The device for separating all the poles
from the supply network must be
installed during the electrical instal-
lation work in accordance with the
national regulations.
• When working with the convector,
always use protective gloves and pro-
tective clothing.
• Handle the convector with care, lift it
slowly and do not throw it.
• Autotransformer AT30, AT45 or AT60 and
relay RV are mandatory to be mounted
in the connection box of the convector
with protection class min. IP55.
• To one thermostat and one AT30, AT45
or AT60 max. 6 fans can be connected.
• Do not reach into the area of the fan
with objects or hands.
• Do not remove connection diagrams
We reserve the right to make changes without prior notice
March 2021
and safety labels from the convector. If
the connection diagrams or labels are
not legible, ask for a replacement.
• Always use original spare parts.
• Only a professionally trained person is
allowed to install the floor convector.
The operator (performing the instal-
lation, maintenance and removal) is
responsible for the correct and safe
installation, maintenance and removal.
• Do not perform the installation, elec-
trical connections, maintenance and
removal of floor convectors if you are
tired, under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medical substances.
• The heat conductor has been tested
at 20 bar of pressure. The maximum
operating pressure of the heat con-
ductor is 11 bar (at temperatures from
5 to 110 °C). This is also the maximum
recommended operating pressure of
the convector.
• In order for the convector to function,
it has to be correctly connected to the
system of hot or cold water and con-
nected to a 230 V, 50 Hz power supply
grid.
• Floor convectors are only used for hea-
ting, cooling, preventing condensation
on glass surfaces and in special cases
for the ventilation of rooms.
• If a set of valves is incorporated, they
must not be touched with a view to
carrying the convector or lifting the
heat exchanger (possible injury).
Application
TK and TKV floor convectors are devices
intended for heating rooms, while TKH
convectors are also intended for cooling
as well as heating. TK floor convectors
operate according to the principle of nat-
ural air convection and the TKV and TKH
have inbuilt fans that use forced convec-
tion to enable stronger heating and cool-
ing power.
