Check the thickness of the slip-on coupling for wear on a regular basis:
If the sheet thickness of the slip-on coupling is less than 3 mm at any point, the slip-

on coupling needs to be replaced.

Danger of accident due to wear!
The material thickness must be at least 3 mm at each point of the slip-on
coupling. (Fig. 16). The slip-on coupling needs to be replaced if the mate-
rial thickness is less than 3 mm due to wear. If it is not replaced, material
failure is to be expected when loaded. There is a danger of accident if the
load falls.
Test the wear limit of the slip-on couplings on a regular basis.
Replace the slip-on couplings immediately if they fall below the wear
limit!
