8-2. Measures to Be Taken in Emergencies
If you drive on water-covered roads
The vehicle accidentally enters the water when driving on the stagnant road. Please contact China
FAW authorized Hongqi dealer to check the following items:
● Inspect the braking efficiency of the brake.
● Check the oil quantity and oil quality of the engine and transmission (when the lubricating oil is cloudy, it
means that water is mixed and should be replaced)..
● Lubrication of transmission shaft, bearings, joints, etc.

When driving on waterlogged roads, it is easy to cause
the engine to stall due to water ingress and short circuit
of electrical components. Do not try to start the engine
after the engine has stalled; otherwise it may cause
serious engine damage.
