360° Camera Installation
If you ordered a PLANIX Core configuration and are providing your own supported 360° camera or are
replacing the 360° camera, follow the steps below, paying careful attention to detail. Figure 7 shows proper
USB cable routing.
1. Remove the four M3 screws from the 360° camera mount using #1 Phillips screwdriver
(user-provided).
2. Attach the 360° camera to the mount using the provided black thumb screw with

which it will engage properly.
4. Attach the 360° camera mount to the system, routing the USB cable around the plastic screw boss and
between the boss and the adjacent flat fin. There is only one orientation of the 360° camera mount at
which it will engage properly.
5. Re-install the four M3 screws. Do not over-tighten the screws or the threaded inserts into which the
screws go will get pulled out from the plastic bosses.
6. Power up the system, connect via Wi-Fi, and perform lens alignment from the Survey Settings page.
