RETAINER BAR

The retainer bar has been installed upside down to avoid
any breakage during transportation. You must flip it over to
use it; here is the procedure :
1.
Remove the retainer bar by compressing its sides
toward the center and sliding the ends out of the
U-shaped clips.
2.
Flip the retainer bar over so that it stands up, ready to
hold the mattress.
3.
Slide both ends of the retainer bar into the U- shaped
clips as shown in the illustration.
4.
You can now place your mattress on your adjustable
bed and it will be retained securely in place.

PLUGGING IN THE ADJUSTABLE BED

Please read the safety instructions at the beginning of this
manual before plugging in your adjustable bed.
For best results, your adjustable bed must be plugged
into a surge protector bar (not included).
The connections under your adjustable bed are already in
place; you just need to plug the motor's power cable into
your electrical outlet. For the Z-Move model, refer to the
installation instructions. Please note that if you have two
adjustable beds pushed together, you will have two cables
to connect: one for each adjustable bed.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

PRODUCT USE STANDARDS

The motor of your Zedbed adjustable bed is not designed
for continuous use or misuse. Zedbed adjustable beds
are not toys and should not be used for fun.
The maximum weight your adjustable bed can support
is 900 pounds. This includes the combined weight of
the users and the mattress. The weight must be evenly
distributed over the surface of the bed. This product is
not intended to support or lift 900 pounds only at the
head or foot of the bed. Do not sit on the head and foot
sections when the bed is in an elevated position.
Some mattresses are not designed for the Zedbed
adjustable bed, because they do not fold properly.
When using this type of mattress with the Zedbed
adjustable bed, the aforementioned weight limits do
not apply, because the mattress folding requires a large
force and can cause premature wear to the motor and
the steel bracket.
For details about the compatibility of your mattress,
please contact your authorized Zedbed retailer.
