PM5020 Dual-Channel Benchtop Power and Energy Meter Chapter 4 Operating Instructions 1. Main Unit: This mode takes the amplified raw signal and multiplies it with a fixed factor, calculated based on the offset, the sensitivity of the sensor for the set wavelength, and all user defined attenu- ation or gain factors.
PM5020 Dual-Channel Benchtop Power and Energy Meter Chapter 4 Operating Instructions For NTCs connected to ports NTC1 or NTC2, a voltage proportional to the temperature reading of the NTC can be exported via this port. A slope can be given in mV/°C or mV/K. The output can be configured to 10 V, 4 V, 2 V, or 1 V full scale.
Logging monitor: An output signal gives information on when logging is started on the PM5020 (signal above 3.3 V) or stopped (below 3.3 V). Logging control: A high incoming signal (2.4 V - 5 V) to the PM5020 triggers logging and stops it whenever the signal is low.
PM5020 power meter front side or the Digital I/O con- nector. 4.7.1 Internal Trigger Measurements can be triggered with the internal trigger function for signal above a level set in the touch screen.
Here, also a signal from another channel can be used to trigger acquisition. Trigger Signal Output: Whenever a trigger is manually executed on the PM5020, a high TTL signal is sent to the I/O port. 4.8 Environment Setup In addition to monitoring the temperature of the light sensors from their built in NTCs, two external NTC temperature probes can be connected either at the 2.5 mm audio sockets...
