5.12 Working with special accessories

Various special accessories are available for the machine. An overview can be found in chapter 8 Optional
accessories.
Some utilization methods are explained below.
5.12.1 Parallel cuts with crossfeed stop
The crossfeed stop available as an optional equipment allows cuts that run parallel to the left edge of the
workpiece. Set the desired width of the cut anywhere between 250 mm and 1250 mm [9.84 to 49.21 in].
Use the following procedure to insert the
crossfeed stop into the guide rail:
1. Insert the crossfeed stop 22 from above into the
groove on the left edge of the guide rail.
The crossfeed stop is inserted.

Use the following procedure to work with the
crossfeed stop:
1. Release the handle lever 23.
2. Move the push stop 24 to set the desired cutting
width.
➢ The pointer 25 indicates the cutting width.
3. Then re-clamp the handle lever 23.
4. Position the entire machine on the workpiece
such that the two push stops rest on the left
edge of the workpiece. Then make the ripping
cut.
